Reality as an Illusion

Photography is a speculative interpretation of life. It questions perceptions of reality.

II seek  to examine the relationship between photography and reality and stimulate the viewer to project her or his own interpretation, thus becoming an integral part of the creative process.

I believe that people should be portrayed in their own space. This can be their home, place of work or any other sacred spot, indoors or out, which has a special meaning. If this is not an option, I prefer to use other atmospheric locations to a studio environment, which always feels somewhat restrictive, artificial and finite.
